Another small project for my MX-5. I designed some simple partitions to keep small items in the trunk without being squished by groceries or other heavy bags.  The trunk has a deepened area which is 4 inches deep; perfect for small items like hiking shoes, water bottles, and some car maintenance items.

This design allows you to create many different configurations, depending on your needs. Using Ponoko’s laser-cut service, I made partitions from Black MDF, 0.25″ thick.

Recently, I was asked about a similar design for Miata 2006-2015 (NC). NC trunk is a little bigger and shaped differently.

I designed an NC version as well. Now both versions are available for ordering from my store.
