One of the features that I had on a prior vehicle was that the backup camera would stay activated when I changed to a forward gear until the car reached about 10mph. This was very handy when parallel parking to help center the car in the spot. I don’t know if this mod is even possible on the MX5 ND2 (mine is a 2022) or if it would be popular, but I sure would be interested.

It is possible with my front camera kit. By default, it switched to the front camera, but I can just keep the backup camera instead if there is no front camera installed.
